Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
This policy covers the RoadBeck and RoadBeck Driver apps during their test period. RoadBeck is in beta: it is offered to invited testers, and no payment is collected.
What we collect
- Account: your phone number and name, and a business name if a driver provides one.
- Service requests: the service address and map location (the customer app reads your current location only when you ask it to find you, and you can type an address instead), vehicle details, the wheel or service needed, notes, and the name and phone number of the person meeting the driver if that is someone else.
- Photos: before and after service photos, photos attached to a reported issue, and an optional profile photo. We re-encode photos on our server, which removes embedded data such as GPS location.
- Driver location: the driver app reads your location only when you confirm arrival, finish or completion of a visit, to check that you are at the service location. The result may be kept with the visit record. The app does not track you in the background.
- Driver applications: name, email, vehicle and license plate, service area, business registration number, insurance expiration date, and any insurance document you submit, which we store encrypted. Driver’s license photos taken in this beta stay on your device and are not sent to us. Insurance card photos are read on your device to suggest the expiration date.
- Service records: visit status and timestamps, messages, reported issues, ratings, and a record of actions taken on each visit.
How we use it
To match requests with drivers, carry out and document the service, resolve disputes, keep the service secure, and improve it during testing. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and the apps contain no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Who can see it
- Drivers: an offer shows the service and vehicle, not your exact address or contact details. The assigned driver sees those once they start the drive.
- Customers: see the visit status and the service record for their own visits.
- RoadBeck staff: authorized staff can view records to run the service and resolve issues, and we keep a log of staff activity.
- Service providers: companies that host and protect our service, and address and ZIP code lookup services (Geoapify and Zippopotam.us), which receive only the coordinates or ZIP code being looked up. Directions open in Apple Maps on the driver’s phone. Apple provides TestFlight under its own privacy policy.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect people or the service.
How long we keep it
We keep account and service records while your account is active and as long as needed for disputes, safety and legal obligations. Records of completed visits are designed to be tamper-evident, so some may be kept after an account is closed. Test data may be deleted when the beta ends.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and saved details in the app, and you can sign out at any time. To request a copy or deletion of your information, write to sales@roadbeck.com. We will tell you if we must keep any of it, and why.
Security
Information travels over encrypted connections and access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid entering information you do not need to share during the beta.
Children
RoadBeck is not intended for anyone under 18.
